Treasure Box Tuesday 82

Just to let you know, I won't be here at Yesterfood for a little while. I'm going out of town to help my mom with my dad. He has been hospitalized, and will be released home and will require some care. He's going to be OK, but she needs some help!

The party will continue every week- please link up with Wanda Ann at
Memories by the Mile!

I hope to be back soon- I will miss you!

  9. Hey Joy,

I am so sorry to hear about your dad. It is so difficult when parents are sick and they do not live near you. We have been experiencing the same thing with my father in law. He has cancer and is scheduled for a bone marrow transplant the middle of August. We are so thankful he has a donor but he will be in the hospital in Nashville for 3 months. When he is back home in Kentucky, he will be confined mainly to his house for 2 years. My mother in law will need lots of help. It is so difficult with a child in school and living in Arknasas to be much help. I truly understand what you are going through. I pray your dad does well and heals quickly but I am thankful your mom has such a sweet loving, caring, daughter to help out.
Many blessings to all your family,
    Diane
